Dion Schneider

Dion Schneider is a Dutch politician and administrator who has served as the Mayor of Maasgouw since July 12, 2023. A member of the People's Party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD), he previously held roles as a municipal councilor and faction leader in Kerkrade from 2006 to 2013, followed by a tenure as an alderman from 2013 to 2021. Before his appointment in Maasgouw, he served as the acting mayor of Simpelveld starting in November 2021. Prior to his political career, Schneider worked as a financial specialist and independent entrepreneur.
