Dirk Beyer is a German politician and a member of the Landtag of Rhineland-Palatinate. Born in Worms in 1978, he studied journalism, political science, and law at the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz. Before his full-time political career, he worked for the Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund (ASB) in public relations and project coordination. A member of the SPD since 2007, he served on the Worms city council and held various local party leadership roles. He assumed his seat in the state parliament in 2025 and was directly elected for the Worms constituency in 2026.
