Dirk Schönberger

Dirk Schönberger is a German local politician currently serving as the Lord Mayor of Remseck am Neckar. Born in 1972 in Pforzheim, he studied law in Saarbrücken and Konstanz before working as a lawyer and in the tax administration, including roles at the Ludwigsburg tax office and the Karlsruhe regional tax directorate. He has also served as a part-time lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences for Public Administration and Finance in Ludwigsburg. First elected as an independent candidate in 2014, he was re-elected for a second term in 2022.
