Dirk Vöpel

Dirk Vöpel is a German politician representing the Social Democratic Party (SPD). He has served as a member of the Bundestag since 2013, representing the constituency of Oberhausen – Wesel III in North Rhine-Westphalia. Throughout his parliamentary career, Vöpel has been a member of the Defense Committee and has participated in the German delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) since 2018. Additionally, he previously served as the deputy chair of the German-Slovak Parliamentary Friendship Group from 2014 to 2017.
