Don DeWitte

Don DeWitte is an American politician serving as a Republican member of the Illinois Senate for the 33rd District since 2018. Before his appointment to the state legislature, he served as the Mayor of St. Charles from 2005 to 2013 and as a city alderman for twelve years. DeWitte spent four decades working in the building materials industry, specializing in kitchen design and sales. In the Illinois Senate, he has held leadership roles and serves on various committees, including Appropriations and Transportation. He is known for his conservative voting record on issues such as labor, education, and criminal justice policy.
