Donna Cushing

Donna Cushing is a Welsh politician serving as a Member of the Senedd for the Sir Fynwy Torfaen constituency since 2026. A member of Plaid Cymru, she has a background in local government, having represented the Hengoed ward on the Caerphilly County Borough Council since 2017. Prior to her election to the Senedd, Cushing was a candidate for the Gwent Police and Crime Commissioner position in both 2021 and 2024. She comes from a family with deep roots in the Rhymney Valley and is a relative of the prominent Welsh politician Aneurin Bevan.
