Doudou Fwamba is a Congolese economist, author, and politician who has served as the Minister of Finance of the Democratic Republic of the Congo since June 2024. A career civil servant who joined the public administration in 2010, he previously held the rank of director of public administration. Since taking office, he has focused on macroeconomic stability, fiscal reform, and the modernization of public finances, including the implementation of a single treasury account and the negotiation of significant economic support programs with the International Monetary Fund.
