Douglas Munsaka Syakalima is a Zambian politician who has served as a member of the National Assembly of Zambia representing the Siavonga and later Chirundu constituencies. A member of the United Party for National Development, he was first elected to parliament in 2001. Following the 2021 general election, he was appointed as the Minister of Education in the cabinet of President Hakainde Hichilema. In May 2026, he announced his intention to retire from parliamentary politics and not seek re-election in the upcoming general election.
