江原久美子

Kumiko Ehara is a Japanese politician currently serving as a member of the House of Councillors, representing the Saitama Prefecture constituency. Born in Fukaya, Saitama, she holds degrees from Meiji University Junior College, Osaka University of Foreign Studies, and Hosei University Graduate School. Before her election to the national legislature in 2025, she served as a member of the Fukaya City Council and the Saitama Prefectural Assembly for three terms. Her career also includes experience as a secretary to a member of the House of Representatives and employment at the Saitama-ken Shinkin Bank.
