Edward David Burt

Edward David Burt is a Bermudian politician who has served as the 13th Premier of Bermuda since 2017. A member of the Progressive Labour Party, he has represented the constituency of Pembroke West Central in the House of Assembly since 2012. Prior to his premiership, he served as the Leader of the Opposition and held various roles within his party, including chair. Educated at The George Washington University, Burt previously worked as an IT consultant and president of GMD Consulting Limited. He is noted for being the youngest person to serve as the Premier of Bermuda.
