佐藤栄一

Eiichi Sato is a Japanese politician who has served as the Mayor of Utsunomiya in Tochigi Prefecture since 2004. Born in Utsunomiya, he graduated from the Meiji University Faculty of Law. Before entering politics, he was a businessman, serving as the representative director of Kitakanto Kanko Kaihatsu. He has also held leadership roles in the Utsunomiya Junior Chamber and the Japan Junior Chamber. Since his first election in 2004, he has been re-elected six consecutive times, maintaining a long-standing tenure in local government.
