青木英二

Eiji Aoki is a Japanese politician currently serving his sixth term as the Mayor of Meguro Ward in Tokyo. Born in Meguro, he graduated from the Faculty of Economics at Keio University. Before his tenure as mayor, which began in 2004, he served as a member of the Meguro Ward Assembly for two terms and as a member of the Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly for two terms. Throughout his long political career, he has been supported by various political parties, including the Democratic Party of Japan and the Liberal Democratic Party, and has focused on local administrative reforms and ward management.
