Elena Zavadlav Ušaj is a Slovenian politician and member of the National Assembly of Slovenia. Born in Šempeter pri Gorici, she built a career in public administration and payment systems before entering politics, serving as a municipal councillor in Nova Gorica and later joining the National Assembly. Initially affiliated with the Slovenian Democratic Party (SDS), she subsequently joined Anže Logar's party, the Democrats, where she serves as general secretary and leads the party's parliamentary group.
