Elliott Pritt

Elliott Pritt is an American politician serving as a member of the West Virginia House of Delegates, representing the 50th district since 2022. Born in Beckley, West Virginia, he holds a Bachelor of Arts in history and a Master of Arts in teaching from Concord University. Before his political career, he served in the United States Air Force and worked as a history teacher at Fayetteville Middle School. Originally elected as a Democrat, Pritt switched his party affiliation to the Republican Party in 2023 and was subsequently named Assistant Majority Leader of the House Republican Caucus for the 87th Legislature in 2025.
