Elly Baker

Elly Baker is a British Labour Party politician who has served as a Member of the London Assembly for the Londonwide constituency since 2021. Raised in East London and educated in Hackney, she previously worked as an organiser for the National Education Union. As the Labour group spokesperson on transport, Baker has campaigned against the closure of train ticket offices, advocated for public ownership of rail services, and supported concessionary fares for care leavers.
