Elmer Cuba is a Peruvian economist and politician serving as the Minister of Economy and Finance under the government of Keiko Fujimori starting in July 2026. He studied economics at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru and earned a master's degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. Throughout his career, he has worked as a director of the Central Reserve Bank of Peru, partner and director at Macroconsult, and as a consultant for numerous international and domestic organizations.
