Emel Köse

Emel Köse is a Belgian politician representing the centrist party Les Engagés. Of Turkish descent, she worked in the health sector as a pharmacy assistant for over twenty years before entering local politics in Schaerbeek. She was elected as a municipal councillor in 2018, later joining the cdH (subsequently renamed Les Engagés) in 2019, and was re-elected in 2024. In January 2026, she took office as a Member of the Parliament of the Brussels-Capital Region, where she serves on committees related to environment, energy, equal opportunities, and women's rights.
