A member of the People's Party, she began her political career on the Teruel City Council in 2003, eventually assuming the mayoralty in 2016. Throughout her tenure, she has focused on urban planning and local governance, securing re-election with an absolute majority in 2023. In addition to her municipal leadership, she was elected to represent the Teruel constituency in the Spanish Senate during the 2023 general election.
