Emmanuel Nchimbi

Emmanuel John Nchimbi is a Tanzanian politician and diplomat currently serving as the Vice-President of the United Republic of Tanzania. He previously held cabinet portfolios including Minister of Home Affairs, and served as Member of Parliament for Songea Town from 2010 to 2015, as well as ambassador to Egypt and Brazil. In his political career, he has also served as Secretary-General of the Chama Cha Mapinduzi party and has focused on strengthening regional mineral hub policies.
