Enrico Komning

Enrico Komning is a German lawyer and politician serving as a member of the Bundestag for the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party. Born in Stralsund in 1968, he completed his Abitur and initially trained in construction before serving in the Wachregiment Feliks Dzierzynski. He later pursued legal studies at the University of Greifswald, graduating to become a lawyer. Komning entered the Bundestag in 2017. He is also a member of the fraternity Rugia, which has been identified by the German Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution as having right-wing extremist references.
