Eranga Weeraratne

Eranga Weeraratne is a Sri Lankan politician, engineer, and business executive currently serving as a Member of Parliament and the Deputy Minister of Digital Economy. A graduate of the University of Moratuwa with a degree in Computer Science and Engineering, he previously held leadership roles in the technology sector, including as CEO and CTO of Omobio Pvt. Ltd. and as a founding member of WaveNET. Entering active politics through the National Intellectuals Organisation, he was appointed to the 17th Parliament of Sri Lanka in 2024 as part of the National People's Power National List, focusing on digital transformation and national development.
