宮崎悦男

Etsuo Miyazaki is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Ojiya City in Niigata Prefecture. Born in Ojiya, he previously worked as a business executive in the art sales industry before entering local politics. He served one term as a member of the Ojiya City Council and three terms as a member of the Niigata Prefectural Assembly. Miyazaki was elected mayor in November 2022, running as an independent candidate with the support of the Komeito party, pledging to continue the policies of his predecessor. He is known for his active involvement in local reconstruction efforts following the 2004 Chuetsu earthquake and his past engagement in regional political reform discussions.
