Eugène Heijnen is a Dutch politician and tax consultant serving as the State Secretary for Tax Affairs, the Tax Administration and Customs in the Schoof cabinet since September 2025. Born in Heerlen in 1964, he studied tax economics at Tilburg University and built a career as a tax consultant for firms including PwC, Ernst & Young, and Essent. He entered politics as a member of the Farmer–Citizen Movement (BBB), serving in the Provincial Council of Limburg and the Senate before joining the national government.
