Fabian Nelson is an American politician serving as a member of the Mississippi House of Representatives for the 66th District since 2024. He made history as the first openly LGBTQ lawmaker in Mississippi. A graduate of Holmes Community College, Jackson State University, and American Public University, Nelson is involved in bipartisan efforts to reform the criminal justice system through the Future Caucus Innovation Fellowship. He resides in Byram with his son.
