Fatma Öncü is a Turkish politician and lawyer currently serving as a member of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey representing Erzurum for the Justice and Development Party. Born in 1976 in Erzurum, she earned her law degree from Dicle University. Before entering politics, she worked as a manager for a French oil company in Diyarbakır for over two decades. Öncü previously served as the Deputy Minister of Family and Social Services from 2021 to 2023. She is a member of the Parliamentary Committee on Equal Opportunity for Women and Men.
