Ferd Crone

Ferd Crone is a Dutch politician currently serving as a member of the Senate of the Netherlands. Born in Dordrecht in 1954, he has had a long career in public service, most notably serving as the Mayor of Leeuwarden from 2007 until 2019. In recognition of his contributions to public life, he was appointed a knight of the Order of Orange-Nassau in 2007. He has been a member of the Senate since February 2020, representing the Labour Party (PvdA).
