Flordeliz Sharma

Flordeliz (Gigi) Osler is a Canadian senator, physician, and surgeon. Appointed to the Senate of Canada in 2022, she is a member of the Canadian Senators Group. Prior to her political career, she served as the president of the Canadian Medical Association from 2018 to 2019 and as the president of the Federation of Medical Women of Canada. Dr. Osler is a specialist in head and neck surgery and an assistant professor at the University of Manitoba, with a career focused on medical education, physician health, and international surgical training missions.
