Florence Akiiki Asiimwe is a Ugandan politician, author, and academic who serves as the Member of Parliament for Masindi District in the 11th Parliament of Uganda. Elected in January 2021, she represents the National Resistance Movement. Prior to her parliamentary career, she was a senior lecturer in the Department of Sociology at Makerere University and held academic positions at the University of the Western Cape and Kyoto University. She holds a PhD in sociology from the University of Cape Town and has authored works on community mobilization and gendered homeownership in Uganda.
