Florence Akiiki Asiimwe is a Ugandan politician, author, and academic who serves as the representative for Masindi District in the 11th Parliament of Uganda. Elected in January 2021, she is affiliated with the National Resistance Movement. Prior to her parliamentary career, she worked as a senior lecturer in the Department of Sociology at Makerere University and held visiting scholar positions at Kyoto University. She holds a PhD in sociology from the University of Cape Town and has authored several publications on gender and development.
