Florian Dorn is a German economist and politician who has served as a member of the Bundestag since 2025, representing the Memmingen – Unterallgäu district for the Christian Social Union (CSU). Prior to his parliamentary career, he spent nine years at the Ifo Institute for Economic Research, where he served as an advisor to the institute's president, Clemens Fuest, from 2020 to 2025. He also held a visiting fellowship at the London School of Economics in 2019. In the Bundestag, Dorn serves on the Finance and Defence Committees and was appointed by Chancellor Friedrich Merz to an expert commission tasked with reforming Germany's pension system.
