Francina Armengol

Francina Armengol Socias is a Spanish politician who has served as the President of the Congress of Deputies since 2023. A member of the Socialist Party of the Balearic Islands, she previously served as the President of the Balearic Islands from 2015 to 2023, becoming the first woman to hold that office. Her career includes extensive experience in regional politics, having served as a member of the Parliament of the Balearic Islands since 1999 and as President of the Island Council of Mallorca. She holds a degree in pharmacy and has pursued studies in law.
