Franz Mold

Franz Mold is an Austrian politician and farmer who has served as a member of the Landtag of Lower Austria since 2008. A member of the Austrian People's Party (ÖVP), he also holds the office of Mayor of Zwettl, having been elected to the position in 2018. Before his full-time political career, Mold managed his family's agricultural business and held various leadership roles within the Austrian Farmers' Federation. He has been active in local government in Zwettl since 1995, serving on the municipal council and city council prior to his election to the state legislature.
