Fredderick Aure Vida is a Filipino lawyer and politician currently serving as the Secretary of Justice of the Philippines. After earning his Juris Doctor from the Ateneo School of Law, he began his legal career in private practice before entering public service. He served as the mayor of Mendez, Cavite, for three consecutive terms from 2013 to 2022. Following his tenure as mayor, he held positions within the Department of Justice, including Assistant Secretary and Undersecretary, before his appointment as Secretary in 2025.
