Gabriel Ste-Marie

Gabriel Ste-Marie is a Canadian politician and academic who has served as the Member of Parliament for the riding of Joliette since 2015. An economist by training, he has held various leadership roles within the Bloc Québécois, including serving as the party's House Leader. He is a researcher at the Contemporary Economics Research Institute and has taught at Cégep régional de Lanaudière and the Université du Québec à Montréal. In 2025, he was elected vice chair of the Canadian House of Commons Standing Committee on Industry, Science and Technology.
