Gabriel Ste-Marie

Gabriel Ste-Marie is a Canadian politician and academic serving as the Member of Parliament for the riding of Joliette. First elected in 2015, he is a member of the Bloc Québécois and has held various leadership roles, including serving as the party's House Leader. Beyond his legislative duties, Ste-Marie is an economist who has taught at the Cégep régional de Lanaudière and lectured at the Université du Québec à Montréal. He currently serves as a critic for finance and the treasury board in the Bloc Québécois Shadow Cabinet and was elected vice chair of the Standing Committee on Industry, Science and Technology in 2025.
