Geert van Rumund

Geert van Rumund is a Dutch politician and administrator who served as the acting mayor of Brummen from 2024 to 2026. A member of the Labour Party (PvdA), he previously held the position of mayor of Wageningen for nearly sixteen years, from 2005 to 2021. Throughout his career, he served as a municipal councilor and alderman in Nijmegen, focusing on social affairs, healthcare, and urban policy. In 2021, he was appointed a Knight in the Order of Orange-Nassau for his extensive public service.
