Gintautas Paluckas

Gintautas Paluckas is a Lithuanian politician and Member of the Seimas who previously served as the Prime Minister of Lithuania from December 2024 until his resignation in August 2025. Born in Panevėžys in 1979, he studied mathematics, informatics, and law at Vilnius University, and began his early career as a chief specialist at Sodra and assistant to a Member of the European Parliament. He served as Deputy Mayor of Vilnius from 2015 to 2019 and led the Lithuanian Social Democratic Party across different periods, advocating for progressive taxation, social democratic values, and European integration.
