Giorgos Papanikolaou is a Greek politician and lawyer currently serving as the Mayor of Glyfada, a position he has held since 2014. Born in 1977, he previously served as a Member of the European Parliament from 2009 to 2014 and led the youth wing of the New Democracy party, ONNED, from 2004 to 2009. Throughout his mayoral tenure, he has focused on digital modernization and local infrastructure, including the implementation of the 'Fix My City' platform and the construction of a new municipal cemetery. He is a graduate of the University of Athens Law School.
