Gobind Singh Deo is a Malaysian politician and lawyer who currently serves as the Minister of Digital and as the Member of Parliament for Damansara. A prominent member of the Democratic Action Party (DAP), he previously served as the Minister of Communications and Multimedia from 2018 to 2020. Known for his legal background and as the son of the late political leader Karpal Singh, he made history as the first Sikh cabinet minister in Malaysia. Throughout his career, he has been a vocal advocate for digital reform and parliamentary accountability.
