Gonçalo Nuno Bertolo Gordalina Lopes

Gonçalo Nuno Bértolo Gordalina Lopes is a Portuguese politician and economist who has served as the Mayor of Leiria since 2019. First elected as a municipal councilor in 2009, he previously held the position of Deputy Mayor, overseeing portfolios including education, sports, and economic development. A member of the Socialist Party, he was elected to a full term as mayor in 2021 and secured re-election in 2025. In addition to his municipal leadership, he serves as the chair of the Socialist Party's Leiria Federation and has been active in regional recovery efforts following natural disasters.
