Grímur Grímsson is an Icelandic politician and a member of the Althing, representing the Reform Party (Viðreisn). He was elected to the Icelandic parliament in the 2024 parliamentary election. Prior to his political career, Grímur served as a police officer for 40 years, eventually rising to become the head of the police's central investigation department in February 2021. He transitioned into politics with a focus on advocating for governmental change in Iceland.
