Pawel Bartoszek

Paweł Bartoszek is a Polish-born Icelandic politician currently serving as a Member of the Althing, representing the Reform Party (Viðreisn). He was first elected to the Icelandic parliament in 2016 and returned to the legislature following the 2024 parliamentary election. In addition to his parliamentary duties, he has served as the chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee since 2025 and previously held a seat on the Reykjavík City Council starting in 2018. Bartoszek, who holds a master's degree in mathematics from the University of Iceland, first entered the political sphere through his election to the Constitutional Assembly in 2010.
