Hajime Yamanoha is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Habikino in Osaka Prefecture. Born in 1981, he graduated from Nippon Bunri University and previously worked as a secretary to both a prefectural assembly member and a member of the House of Representatives. He served three terms as a member of the Osaka Prefectural Assembly before being elected mayor in 2020, subsequently winning re-election in 2024. As a member of the Osaka Restoration Association, he has been involved in regional governance and faced public scrutiny regarding his attendance at a large group dinner during COVID-19 restrictions and past ties to the Unification Church.
