Yoshinori Kita

Yoshinori Kita is a Japanese politician currently serving as a member of the House of Representatives, representing the Chugoku proportional representation block. Born in Tenri, Nara Prefecture, he graduated from Senshu University and previously worked at Morimoto-gumi Co., Ltd. before beginning his political career as a secretary to Kenshiro Matsunami in 2004. He later joined the Osaka Ishin no Kai in 2010, serving as its secretary-general. After several unsuccessful bids for a parliamentary seat in various proportional blocks between 2012 and 2024, he was elected to the House of Representatives in February 2026 following the 51st general election. Kita is noted for his background in wrestling, having competed for the Senshu University wrestling team.
