Hakim Lal Bind

Hakim Lal Bind is an Indian politician currently serving as a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) for the Handia constituency in the Prayagraj district of Uttar Pradesh. He was first elected to the assembly in 2017 as a candidate for the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP). In October 2021, he joined the Samajwadi Party following political disagreements with BSP leadership. He successfully retained his seat in the 2022 Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly election, defeating the BJP alliance candidate.
