Hakob Arshakyan is an Armenian politician currently serving as the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia, a position he has held since 2021. Born in 1985 in Yerevan, he holds degrees in electronic engineering from the State Engineering University of Armenia. Before entering politics, he worked as a systems engineer and regional manager for National Instruments and served as an executive director in the engineering sector. A founding member of the Civil Contract party, Arshakyan previously served as the Minister of High-Tech Industry and Minister of Transportation, Communication, and Information Technologies.
