Han Kuo-yu is a Taiwanese politician and former army officer who has served as the President of the Legislative Yuan since 2024. A member of the Kuomintang, he previously served as a legislator from 1993 to 2002 and as the Mayor of Kaohsiung from 2018 to 2020. Known for his populist appeal and combative political style, he was the Kuomintang's candidate in the 2020 presidential election. Before his political career, he held various roles, including general manager of the Taipei Agricultural Products Marketing Corporation and school teacher.
