Hanno Pevkur

Hanno Pevkur is an Estonian politician currently serving as the Minister of Defence. A member of the Estonian Reform Party, he has held several high-level government positions, including Minister of Social Affairs, Minister of Justice, and Minister of the Interior. Pevkur began his career as a lawyer before entering local government in Nõmme and later serving on the Tallinn City Council. He was first elected to the Riigikogu in 2007 and has since played a significant role in Estonian national politics, including serving as a deputy speaker of the parliament.
