Harm Rykena is a German politician and a member of the Landtag of Lower Saxony. Born in 1963 in Bremerhaven, he worked as a teacher and served as the vice-principal of the Ahlhorn primary school from 2000 to 2017. He joined the Alternative for Germany (AfD) in 2013 and has served on the Großenkneten municipal council since 2016. Rykena was first elected to the state parliament in 2017 and has continued to serve in the legislature, representing the party on the state list.
