Harold M. Love Jr. is an American politician serving as a member of the Tennessee House of Representatives for the 58th District since 2012. A member of the Democratic Party, he currently holds the position of House Democratic assistant leader and serves as the President of the National Black Caucus of State Legislators. In addition to his legislative career, Love is an ordained minister in the African Methodist Episcopal Church and has served as a pastor at several congregations in Nashville. He holds a Ph.D. in public policy and administration from Tennessee State University and focuses his legislative work on issues including finance, insurance, and education.
