Helen Grant is a British Conservative politician serving as the Member of Parliament for Maidstone and Malling since 2024, having previously represented Maidstone and The Weald from 2010 to 2024. A solicitor by profession, she made history as the first black woman elected as a Conservative MP. Throughout her career, she has held several government positions, including Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Justice and Minister for Sport and Tourism. In November 2024, she was appointed Shadow Solicitor General. Grant was appointed an OBE in 2023 for her political and public service.
