Hellen Kahunde is a Ugandan educator and politician currently serving as a Member of Parliament representing the Kiryandongo District Women's Constituency. First elected in 2011 as the district's inaugural Women's Representative, she has been re-elected multiple times, including in 2021. Throughout her parliamentary career, she has served on various committees, including the Committee on East African Community Affairs, the Committee on Science and Technology, and the Committee on Presidential Affairs. Before entering politics, she worked as a science teacher at Kigumba Intensive Secondary School.
